Larger amp-hour (Ah) batteries give you longer run times but weigh more and take longer to charge, whereas lower Ah batteries are lighter but have shorter run times and quicker charging times.  Consider what machine you are thinking of using it in, as some tools like hedge trimmers require considerably less power than, say, a blower. This means you could opt for a smaller, lighter battery, making a hedge trimmer much lighter to use, but keeping a good battery run time.
