WHAT IS ASPEN FUEL?
ASPEN fuel is an alkylate fuel—a very pure form of petrol. Using Aspen in petrol-powered machinery helps it run cleaner, which can protect both your engine and you by reducing harmful fumes and deposits, often leading to a longer engine life. Many users also report longer run times per tank and more power.
A key benefit is that Aspen contains no ethanol (common in UK pump fuel). Ethanol absorbs moisture from the air, which can lead to poor running and corrosion in fuel system components. Pump petrol can also go stale quickly due to additives, potentially causing running issues or blocked fuel components.
Because Aspen avoids these additives, it can stay fresh for up to 5 years.
At ATS Machinery Ltd, we run all new machines on Aspen and haven’t kept standard pump petrol on-site for years—so machines can be tested and prepared well in advance and are ready when customers need them.
