The STIHL HLA 66 is a lightweight long‑reach hedge trimmer designed for professional landscaping and garden maintenance. Powered by a 36 V lithium‑ion battery, it’s well balanced to help reduce fatigue during longer jobs, and its quiet operation makes it ideal for noise‑sensitive areas such as residential neighbourhoods, hospitals and care homes.
With an overall length of 205 cm, it’s perfect for trimming tall and wide hedges without overreaching. The 50 cm / 20" laser‑cut, double‑sided, diamond‑ground blades deliver a clean finish, while the cutting head adjusts through 115° (from ‑45° to +70°) for comfortable working angles and precise shaping. High EC motor acceleration supports fast, efficient cutting.
For transport and storage, the head folds flat to reduce the overall length to 132 cm, making it easier to carry between jobs. The HLA 66 is also IPX4 rated, so it can be used in wet weather conditions.
When used with the recommended AP 200 S battery, the HLA 66 offers a working time of up to 144 minutes, with excellent balance for comfortable handling.
