The STIHL HSA 100 is a powerful professional hedge trimmer designed for demanding work in noise-sensitive areas, including nurseries, landscape maintenance and groundskeeping. Powered by a 36 V lithium-ion battery and part of the STIHL ALLPRO/AP System, it’s ideal for maintaining all types of hedges—handling everything from light trimming to cutting thicker, older shoots.
A 60 cm / 24" double-sided blade with 34 mm tooth spacing delivers long-lasting sharpness, excellent cutting performance and rapid work progress. Ergonomics are a key strength too, with optimal balance, an anti-vibration system and a loop handle for comfortable control over longer periods.
The standout feature is the rotatable multi-function handle, which turns through 180° in three positions to reduce wrist strain and make it easier to cut precisely along the sides of long hedges with repeated motions.
For reliability in tough conditions, the HSA 100 includes an anti-block system that reverses blade direction if it jams, plus a durable EC motor for consistent performance. A screw-on tip protector supports low-wear cutting close to the ground or along walls.
Recommended for use with the ALLPRO AP 100 P battery, with a typical working time of around 89 minutes on the recommended battery.
