The STIHL HSA 150 T is an extremely powerful, robust professional hedge trimmer designed for the toughest landscaping and garden maintenance work. Comparable in performance to the petrol HS 87, it’s part of the STIHL ALLPRO/AP System and runs on a 36 V lithium-ion AP battery, delivering long working times, constant power, low vibration and very quiet operation.
Built for ornamental and fine-leaf hedges such as taxus, buxus and privet, the HSA 150 T features a high blade speed and a single-sided cutting blade with 30 mm tooth spacing for a precise, clean finish. Blade speed can be adjusted to 3,900 / 4,500 / 5,000 rpm to suit the hedge and the level of detail required.
A built-in battery slot means there’s no need to wear a battery on your belt or back. The trimmer is optimised for excellent ergonomics and, when paired with the recommended ALLPRO AP 200 S battery, offers perfect balance for more comfortable extended use. It’s also IPX4 rated, so it can be used in adverse weather conditions.
For tougher cuts, the anti-jamming function helps release the blades if they snag on thicker branches—simply release and pull the trigger again to reverse blade direction. A new gearbox system works with the EC motor to deliver very high cutting force and rapid acceleration to the selected blade speed.
Recommended for use with the ALLPRO AP 200 S battery, with a typical working time of around 90–140 minutes on the recommended battery.
