The STIHL MSA 600 C-O is designed for professional tree care, municipal work, horticulture and landscaping. Powered by two ALLPRO batteries, it delivers the performance needed to fell large trees and cut them to size—even in noise-sensitive areas such as hospitals, schools, parks and residential neighbourhoods. It can be fitted with guide bars up to 90 cm, making it suitable for demanding felling work and large cuts.
With a mechanical output of 5.9 kW, the MSA 600 C-O delivers more power than the professional MS 661 petrol chainsaw (5.4 kW), placing it among STIHL’s most powerful chainsaws in the 90 cc class. It is designed for straightforward operation and activates in just five seconds. If you’re not ready to start cutting after activation, the motor switches off automatically after a short time to conserve energy.
The LED display provides information about the chain brake and selected operating mode. An oil sensor continuously monitors the chain oil level to help reduce interruptions. Choose between Performance, Endurance and Precision modes using the handle to adapt the saw to the task and manage battery use.
A removable metal-mesh air filter with a metal grille supports cooling and makes cleaning easier, helping keep the electronics and motor components clean. Like most STIHL ALLPRO/AP System tools, the MSA 600 C-O is IPX4-rated for use in various weather conditions.
Recommended batteries: ALLPRO AP 300 P or AP 300 PC only. With a fully charged battery, the saw can make approximately 40 cuts through 40 × 40 cm spruce timber.
