The STIHL SHA 56 is STIHL’s first cordless vacuum shredder/leaf blower. Part of the AK System, this versatile 2‑in‑1 machine is ideal for vacuuming leaves and hedge clippings, or blowing leaves and debris into neat piles.
In both vacuum and blower modes, the rotatable handle offers excellent ergonomics for comfortable use. Switching between modes is quick and tool-free, simply click the tubes into place and rotate the handle 180° so it sits naturally in your hand. The variable-speed trigger lets you control suction and blowing power, while the angled handle improves comfort when using the machine in vacuum shredder mode.
In vacuum mode, the catcher bag connects directly to the vacuum tube (rather than sitting over your shoulder) for more comfortable operation. A padded, adjustable shoulder strap helps support the machine during use. The metal shredder blade on the fan wheel reduces material volume, and the shredder opening is easy to access, so blockages can be cleared quickly if needed.
Working time with the recommended AK 20 battery: up to 25 minutes.
